Tangata Atumotu Trust is looking to recruit an Administrator for the Tamaiti Healthy Homes service.

OUR PURPOSE:

Tangata Atumotu is the longest serving Pasifika health and social service provider in the Canterbury region. Over recent times, our staff numbers have grown to meet the demand of our services. Our trust is governed by a Pasifika Board who are active members of the local Christchurch Pasifika community, with a strong dedication to the health and wellbeing of Pasifika people.

We have an extensive, strong and trusted presence in the local Pasifika community. Our core services address immediate health and social needs as well as the social determinants of health.

THE ROLE:

Tangata Atumotu is looking to recruit a self-motivated and passionate individual for an Administrator role within the Tamaiti Healthy Homes (THH) programme. This role is 1FTE and Fixed Term.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL:

  • Have experience in engaging with Pasifika communities with existing connections into in a Pasifika community

  • Provide all aspects of administration support for Tamaiti Healthy Homes service.

  • Have previous administrative experience with a knowledge of IT, particularly Microsoft office suite of programmes.

  • Hold a current full NZ driver’s licence and be eligible to work in New Zealand.

  • Be expected to promote healthy practice in line with the values of Tangata Atumotu, including immunisation, and to model healthy choices.
