Mobile nursing

Clinical support from the comfort of your own home

Our friendly nurses offer home visits for people in our Pasifika community who have serious, long-term medical conditions.

We understand that there are barriers that prevent our people from accessing the health services they need. Our mobile nurses help bridge that gap.

By bringing care directly to our people, we ensure that everyone has the opportunity to receive the support and treatment they deserve.

If you have a long-term medical condition and think you might benefit from using our free mobile nursing service, ask your general practitioner to put in a referral through to us.

Otherwise, fill out the registration form and one of our clinical team members will be in touch.

Havana A’aifou

Havana moved to Ōtautahi in 2005 for new opportunities with her family. Havana states that the transition came with cultural challenges, but she embraced this change with determination to make a better life for herself.

Havana found her passion in caregiving and pursued nursing at the Ara Insitute while working as a caregiver. Her work ethic and commitment led to her new role at Tangata Atumotu Trust as one of our student nurses, where she will continue to serve the community.

She says that her new role marks a significant milestone in her professional journey, and she is grateful to be a part of an organisation known for it's commitment to community and cultural enrichment. "I am grateful for the support from God and the team at TAT".
